Forged Partnerships by ICoAI, and ICSI with Foreign Organizations Cleared by Cabinet

Professional education’s mutual recognition is of great interest to India since it has a very strong service industry. India has already decided to sign a deal with the UK earlier this month for liberalizing the visa regime for propelling the easy movement of people between the two countries. On Tuesday, 25th May, the government of India endorsed the partnerships that professional bodies of company secretaries and cost accountants have signed contracts with similar international foreign bodies for easy facilitation of mutual recognition of qualifications. The partnership contracts were signed by ICoAI and ICSI with different international bodies like Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland, UK’s Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, Australia’s Institute of Public Accountants, Sri Lanka’s Institute of Certified Management Accountants.
