CMA (Certified Management Accountant) Certification Exam to Be Updated With an Increased Focus on Technology in January 2020

ICMA® (The Institute of Certified Management Accountants), the certification division of IMA® (The Institute of Management Accountants), announced today that it is making changes to its CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) exam. The updates to the exam are being made to ensure the CMA remains relevant in the ever-evolving environment of the management accounting profession. The changes will be effective January 1, 2020.
GST pangs: Govt, ICAI to train 1 lakh accountants to help boost tax compliance

The Government of India, along with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI), is all set to launch a nationwide GST-training programme to train 1 lakh accountants in the country to enable them to deliver GST compliance, especially to small and medium enterprises that are struggling with compliance. The programme is expected to be launched next month.

The Central Government and the Institute of Cost Accountants (ICMAI) go hand in hand to train the accountants to deal with the GST related compliances and accounting in the next six to eight months.
